iTunes gift card discounts are noticeably less common than they used to be, so if you need more credit for apps, music, movies, iCloud storage, or anything else, buy a $100 gift card from eBay for 15% off, while supplies last. It’s not as good as the short-lived $50-for-$40 Prime Day deal, but otherwise, it’s about as good as it gets.

This gift card is sold by Paypal’s eBay store, and should arrive in your inbox within four hours. Just don’t spend it all on Elder Scrolls: Blades gems.

Like a snake that just ate an oversized rat, this Lightning cable from Nomad has a hump in the middle, and that hump is a 2800mAh battery.

That means if you use this as your primary on-the-go charging cable for your phone, you won’t just be charging your phone when you use it; you’ll also be charging the battery. And so when it comes time to leave the safety and comfort of your power outlet, the cable can still juice up your phone all on its own.

2800mAh should be just about enough for a full charge on a non-Max or Plus-sized iPhone, and unlike most battery packs, you won’t have to remember to bring a cable to use with it.

Get it for $25 + $5 shipping from Huckberry while it lasts, down from the usual $50.

Anker’s SoundCore Spirit X headphones are the sportiest member of the SoundBuds family, and are designed with active users in mind. Their ear wings ensure they stay put while you exercise, and an internal hydrophobic coating means your sweat won’t fry them. Hell, you could even swim with them. Their best spec though? 12 hours of battery life, which is basically unheard of in the space.

They normally sell for $40, but they’re currently marked down to $36, and you can knock an extra $6 off that price by clipping the coupon. Even if you already have a set of wireless headphones, it never hurts to toss an extra pair in your gym bag or luggage in case you forget them.

Luckily, this four-port, 40W charger from iClever is small enough to slip into any travel bag, and it’s only $15 today after you clip the 5% coupon and add promo code XUAN1599. One particularly nice touch? The USB ports emit a subtle blue light so you can easily find them in your hotel room at night.

From our Inventory write-up:

Ghost Paper uses texture, rather than ink, to create the alternating embossed and debossed lines on its pages. The effect is subtle, even invisible at certain angles, and straddles the line of offering tactile feedback without interrupting pen and pencil marks.

Since then, our readers have bought thousands of the company’s 96-page faux leather-bound notebook, which is back on sale for $20 with code KINJA717 today. Peak Design’s Everyday Messenger Bag shot past the competition to take the title of your favorite…

Read more Read

The Peak Design Travel Tripod purports to be one of the most compact full-sized travel tripods on the market, thanks to a unique design that eliminates wasted, empty space with form-fitted legs and pieces that fit together perfectly. Packed down, its maximum diameter is only 3.25″ across, compared to well over 4″ for most tripods in this class. But it still boasts a 60″ maximum height, and can hold 20 pounds of gear, so it’s not sacrificing flexibility or strength to achieve that svelte design.

A single, “precision engineered” adjustment ring on the ball head makes it easy to articulate your camera or lock it in place at any angle, and you can even convert the tripod into a “Low Mode” with the included hex wrench, which hangs the camera under the legs rather than balancing it above them.

My favorite little feature, though, has to be the included universal phone mount, which stows away inside the center column when not in use, so you’ll never lose it or leave it at home. That means that even if you don’t want to take all of your heavy camera gear out on a hike, you could still bring along the tripod to get some stunning shots and long exposures with your phone.

Peak Design has already raised nearly $2,000,000 on Kickstarter for this campaign, and if you know Peak, you know that this is a rare opportunity to save money on their gear. The aluminum version of the Travel Tripod will set you back $289 (compared to $350 once it releases), and the lighter carbon fiber version is priced at $479 (compared to $600). That’s a lot of money, but Peak is undefeated in delivering class-leading, ultra high-quality products, so it’ll likely be money well spent if you take photography seriously.

It’s been a very long time since I sat down with a book and tore through 140 pages before moving again. But that’s what happened when I opened Michelle McNamara’s true crime thriller, I’ll Be Gone In The Dark. If you don’t know the best seller, it’sa chronicle of the Golden State Killer’s decade long rampage across California, and the search to find the killer. The fact that the book precedes last year’s identification and arrest of the man responsible in no way diminishes the work. It’s absolutely captivating and horrifying: you can’t put it down.

I paid the full $18 for it, and would probably pay double in hindsight. But you can grab it for just $10 as a paperback today.

If you like board games like Settlers of Catan and Agricola, but are understandably a little sick of playing them, you’ll definitely want to give Carcassonne a try. Today’s price is the best price Amazon’s listed all year, and a great investment for your next game night.

This box even includes two mini expansions: The River and The Abbott, but you can buy a ton of other ones separately to make your box unique.

Amazon’s had a ton of good board game deals lately, but if you’ve still got room on your shelf, 7 Wonders is well worth picking up for $30 from Amazon, while you can.

From Board Game Geek, where it’s a top 50 game:

You are the leader of one of the 7 great cities of the Ancient World. Gather resources, develop commercial routes, and affirm your military supremacy. Build your city and erect an architectural wonder which will transcend future times.

7 Wonders lasts three ages. In each age, players receive seven cards from a particular deck, choose one of those cards, then pass the remainder to an adjacent player. Players reveal their cards simultaneously, paying resources if needed or collecting resources or interacting with other players in various ways. (Players have individual boards with special powers on which to organize their cards, and the boards are double-sided). Each player then chooses another card from the deck they were passed, and the process repeats until players have six cards in play from that age. After three ages, the game ends.

Today’s price is the best Amazon’s listed in nearly a year, so add it to your cart along with Carcassonne.

It’s a little frivolous, but comparatively speaking, it’s one of the better deals in the gaming monitor space.
